It all started for us (Rachel Phelps & Brad Phelps) with a wagging tail and a whole lot of love. Preston, our first dog together as a married couple (and future internet star!), wasn’t just a dog; he was family. His journey on social media, chronicled at PrestonSpeaks.com, ignited a spark in us – a passion to share the joy, the challenges, and the unconditional love that comes with pet parenthood.

But our story goes beyond the viral fame. We have been deeply embedded in the pet industry for well over a decade. From attending major product trade shows to running the Preston Cares Network (a breed-specific dog rescue named after our beloved pup, of course!), we’ve dedicated ourselves to advocating for furry companions and their human parents.

Rachel, a seasoned pet writer with experience at publications like Pets+ Magazine and Dogster, as well as our blog PrestonSpeaks.com, brings a wealth of knowledge and storytelling expertise to the table. Witnessing the power of online communities from Preston’s Internet following and helping run the BarkWorld Pet Social Media Conference for several years, she understands the importance of connection for pet parents.
